Collection of General Data

These data do not allow any direct conclusion to be drawn with respect to your person and are not used by us to establish a reference to your person. Registration Form
If you register for one of our seminars via our contact form – seminar, the data provided by you will be stored by us in order to process your registration. The personal data transmitted to us in this context is determined by the respective input mask used for the registration. The personal data entered by you will be collected and stored for own purposes only. We will also pass on your data to third parties exclusively for the processing of your registration, for example to parcel service providers.
Newsletter
If you register for our newsletter, the data you provide will be used exclusively for this purpose. For an effective registration you need a valid e-mail address. In order to ensure that the registration is actually carried out by you, we will at first send an e-mail to the indicated e-mail address after registration, asking you to confirm the registration. By confirming the registration you inform us that you agree to the registration (so-called double opt-in procedure). We log your registration for the newsletter, the sending of the confirmation e-mail and the receipt of your confirmation.
You can at any time terminate your subscription to the newsletter and revoke your consent to the storage of data stored for sending the newsletter. For this purpose, there is a corresponding link in every newsletter. You can also unsubscribe directly via our website or by contacting us via the aforementioned contact methods.
Google Analytics
For our website we use Google Analytics, a tracking tool of Google, LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies” (see above under “cookies”), which are stored on your computer and allow an analysis of your use of the website. The thus generated information about your use of our website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google beforehand within Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide further services associated with the website use and Internet use to the operator of the website. YouTube
On our website we use embedded YouTube videos. YouTube is a service of YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA (“YouTube”). When you visit a page with an embedded YouTube video, a connection to YouTube servers is established. This will let YouTube know which pages you visit. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube may also personally associate this information with you. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand. When a video is started, YouTube collects data regarding your user behaviour with the help of cookies (see above under “Cookies”). iThemes Security
For our website we use the iThemes Security Plugin for WordPress of iThemes Media LLC, 1720 South Kelly Avenue, Edmond, OK 73013, USA (iThemes). When you visit our website, the plugin stores your IP address in a database on our server. In addition, the plugin can place small text files (cookies) on your computer to collect further information. This serves our legitimate interest to ensure the security of our website and to prevent hacker attacks. You can prevent cookies from being stored by making the appropriate settings in your Internet browser.
Data Protection in the Application Process
We collect and process personal data from applicants for the purpose of processing the application procedure, also by electronic means. This applies in particular if an applicant provides us with corresponding application documents electronically, for example by e-mail. If an employment contract is concluded, the transmitted data will be stored for the purpose of handling the employment relationship in compliance with the statutory provisions. If an employment contract is not concluded, the application documents will be automatically deleted three months after notification of the rejection decision unless there are any other legitimate interests on our part which prevent deletion. Other legitimate interest in this sense is, for example, a burden of proof in proceedings under the General Equal Treatment Act (Allgemeines Gleichbehandlungsgesetz (AGG)).
Legal Basis
We collect and process your personal data exclusively on a statutory basis, including in particular on the basis of the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (GDPR). If we obtain your consent for processing operations for specific processing purposes, the legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. If we need your personal data in order to fulfil a contract concluded with you (e.g. delivery of goods, provision of services), the processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. This also applies to processes directly connected therewith, e.g. the processing of inquiries about our products, services or prices. If we process your personal data on the basis of statutory obligations, this is done on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR. In the unlikely event that we need your personal data in order to protect your vital interests or those of another natural person, the processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. d GDPR. Storage Time and Data Deletion
We delete or block personal data in accordance with the legal requirements as soon as they are no longer required for the purposes mentioned herein or a legally prescribed storage period expires.
